CHANNELVIEW, Texas – At least one employee was injured after being burned Tuesday at Energy Investment Fund in Channelview.
Emergency crews from LyondellBasell, which is located near Energy Investment Fund, were called just after 7 a.m. and rendered aid until Life Flight arrived, according a LyondellBasell spokesperson.

The employee was flown to the hospital. The worker’s condition was not made immediately available.
The cause of the burn and what type of burn the worker sustained is unclear.
