HOUSTON – A man's body was found floating Sunday afternoon in Brays Bayou near Beltway 8 in west Houston, Houston police said.
Houston police, Precinct 5 constables and homicide detectives responded to the scene in the 7600 block of West Sam Houston Parkway South near Arthur Storey Park, where they found the body submerged in the water.

The Houston police dive team and the medical examiner's officer retrieved the body. The victim is described as a 30- to 35-year-old Hispanic man.
Authorities believe that the man might have fallen and hit his head. Police said he showed no signs of trauma.
An autopsy is expected to be performed on Monday.
