STAFFORD, Texas – An explosion at a Stafford business Thursday shook homes in the area.
Police received several reports of the explosion early Thursday morning.
"I heard a big bang, and then I heard a glass breaking," nearby resident Janie Saucedo said.
"I thought it was a bomb, something fell on the house," Richard Castillo, who also lives in the area, said.
According to investigators, the blast happened just before 4 a.m. at Jimmerson Underground warehouse in the area of the 300 block of Brand Lane. Jimmerson is an underground utility company, police said.

Firefighters found the building on fire and were able to quickly extinguish the flames.
No one was hurt in the explosion.

Several homes close to the warehouse were damaged in the explosion.
Janie Saucedo only let Channel 2 inside her home where the impact of the blast shattered her back porch window and broke her bedroom window.
"I found the blinds moved, and the glass was all broken. Just scary, it was so scary," she said.

The experience was terrifying for 11-year-old Aysia.
"And I woke up. I was really scared. Everything was shaking for a couple of seconds. Some stuff fell, and then I didn't want to move," Aysia said.Â

Police are investigating the cause of the blast.
The owners of the business believe a commercial propane barbeque trailer that was being stored on the property may have started the fire.
They said they plan to fix neighbor's windows that were damaged by the affects of the explosion.
