Police search for gunmen who robbed, shot man at north Houston apartments

HOUSTON – A man was shot during a robbery Thursday at an apartment complex in north Houston.

Officers were called around 12:30 a.m. to the Meadowbrook Plaza Apartments in the 600 block of E. Little York Road for reports of a shooting.  Officers found a man outside with a single gunshot wound. 

Police said the victim was walking to his apartment from the parking lot when two other men approached him at gunpoint and demanded his wallet. The man ran and the men shot him once.

The unidentified men got away in a white Toyota Corolla, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition. He is expected to survive. 

Investigators are hoping witnesses will come forward.
