HOUSTON – Investigators are looking for two armed bank robbers who targeted a BBVA Compass Bank and a Prosperity Bank on Friday, officials said.
The same vehicle involved is suspected in a June 2 robbery of a Prosperity Bank at 7950 Westheimer, in Houston, investigators said.

As for Friday’s events, two men were caught on surveillance camera. Just before 10:15 a.m., the robbers entered the BBVA Compass Bank at 15550 Memorial Drive, ordered everyone inside to the ground and told the tellers to empty their drawers, according to the FBI Houston Office.
No one was physically hurt.
The men ran off afterward, and officials didn’t say how much cash they got away with. Investigators said it appears the same two armed robbers then tried to hit the Prosperity Bank at 1070 Highway 6 South, but they were denied entry into the building.
The men left in a dark gray Honda Accord with no license plate, the FBI said.
Their Honda is connected to a robbery at another Prosperity Bank earlier this month.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identity and arrest of these serial bank robbers.
