HOUSTON – The Houston Dynamo have taken on midfielder Arturo Alvarez in a trade with Chicago Fire FC, the club announced Sunday.
Houston traded its second-round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft to the Fire, the Dynamo said in a press release.

A Houston native, Alvarez has played in 237 career games with 146 starts in regular-season play, scoring 32 goals and registering 30 assists, the Dynamo said.
