HOUSTON – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday after refusing to stop for officers in northwest Houston, police said.
The crash was reported about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Hammerly Boulevard and Brittmoore Road.

Houston police said an officer noticed the motorcycle going more than 100 mph and the driver was popping wheelies. The officer turned on his siren, but the motorcycle kept going, police said. The motorcycle ran the light at the intersection and hit a truck, police said.
The motorcyclist ended up underneath the truck and died at the scene, police said.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
