HOUSTON – A woman was attacked and robbed Thursday in the parking lot of a Target in northwest Houston.
The incident was reported about 7:50 p.m. at the corner of Northwest Freeway and Hollister Street.
According to Houston police, the woman was near her car when at least two people grabbed her purse and then either shot her with a pellet gun or shocked her with a stun gun. The thieves then jumped in a car and fled the scene, police said.
Police said the woman was bleeding from her shoulder and hand when officers arrived, but she is expected to recover.
