What to watch out for
Scalping and scams remain a concern for many rodeo fans.
According to an anonymous committee member, “There are scalpers everywhere, and I’ve seen tickets resold for much higher than face value, sometimes as much as $250 for a $72 ticket.”
Another issue is ticket scams, where buyers send money but never receive tickets. One committee member shared a story of an individual who sent money through a third-party site and was never reimbursed after the tickets didn’t arrive.
For a safe purchasing experience, stick to official platforms like RodeoHouston.com and AXS for all ticket purchases.
