HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas – Every year, Texas Game Wardens are out enforcing the laws regarding hunting and fishing in the state and making sure people stay safe while also enjoying the natural resources of Texas.

Every so often, they come across some unusual things while in the process of doing their jobs. This past deer season was no exception.

In Henderson County, a county in East Texas, Game Wardens had been investigating a suspect for hunting on private property without the landowners permission.

The unusual thing about this case was the type of hunting blind the man was using. It wasn’t originally a hunting blind at all, but a port-a-potty which had been converted into a blind.

Unable to catch the suspect the last year, Game Wardens set up a game camera along the property line in hopes the hunter would return to hunt the same unusual blind.

Sure enough, on the opening day of deer season, the camera captured the suspect walking to his “toilet stand.”

Shortly afterwards, Game Wardens confronted the suspect who admitted to them that he had been hunting the property without permission.

Charges were filed, and the man removed the blind and feeder from the property.
