West Houston – According to Houston Police, a pedestrian was crossing Richmond Avenue near Fountain View drive when they were struck by a car.
The incident happened around midnight. Investigators said that the driver of the car stayed at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Authorities have not released if there was a crosswalk in the area or if the driver will any charges.
