4 men wanted in connection with jewelry store robbery

Robbery happened at a J.D. Jewelry store in August

HOUSTON – Authorities are looking for four men in connection with a robbery at an area jewelry store in August.

On Aug. 20, the four men ran into the J.D. Jewelry Inc. store at the PlaAmericas shopping mall, according to authorities. 

The men broke display cases with sledgehammers, removed the jewelry and then assaulted an employee who attempted to stop the robbery, authorities said. 

The employee suffered a broken jaw and a fracture to his left eye bone, according to authorities. 

The men left the store and ran back to the parking lot to get in a red hatchback SUV, authorities said. 

The men are described by authorities as black males in the age range of 15 to 25.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest or charge.
