5 ways to enjoy nightlife of West Palm Beach during spring training

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Most Astros fans are there to enjoy the game, but after a day out at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, take some time to enjoy the city.

1. Visit City Place

The downtown outdoor shopping experience is great for families and has cafes, pubs and of course places to shop.

It’s open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

2. Go to Clematis Street 

It’s the main drag where there are a number of sports bars and restaurants.  

E.R. Bradley’s Saloon is at the end of the street and has waterfront views. They have live music every night, outdoor dining and a large menu featuring seafood, burgers and  signature cocktails.

“We’ve been open for 35 years, we have four different kinds of bars, each one unique, we also  have inside and outside dinning,” said Gerado Luna, a manager for E.R. Bradley’s. 

The restaurant also has a tiki bar, which is quite popular. There are outdoor games and even hammocks. 

“We hope they come and enjoy the dining experience with us and we’ll be very happy to have them,” said Luna. 

3. Avocado Grill

If you’re looking for an intimate setting with a unique twist, head over to Avocado Grill.  Their fresh oysters, avocado-inspired dishes and amazing seafood are worth the trip. For fans who enjoy alcoholic beverages, try the avocado margarita, it’s made to perfection.

4. The Beach 

Fans may want to schedule some time to spend the day at the beach. There are plenty of public beaches for people to soak up the rays.

The Palm Beaches has about 47 miles of beaches.

Palm Beach is close to downtown and located on Ocean Boulevard.  It’s a great spot to walk and enjoy the sites. There is street parking, so remember to bring money or a credit card for the meter. 

Lake Worth Beach is about 23 minutes south of downtown West Palm Beach. It’s a good place to go for families, there are also lifeguards out patrolling the beaches. 

5. Museums

There are a number of landmarks to go see in the Palm Beach area including the Henry Morrison Flager Museum.
