LEAGUE CITY, Texas – Six massage parlors have been closed during an ongoing investigation into a number of local massage parlors that are allegedly promoting prostitution.
"We are invested in the economic growth and community well-being here in League City," said Richard Werbiskis, assistant director of development and planning for the League City Police Department's Community Impact Unit. "As our city grows and continues to attract new residents and successful businesses, we remain dedicated to ensuring all businesses are operating within the allowances of the law."

Authorities have been investigating the massage parlors for the past four months. The investigation led to 14 code violations, four charges of prostitution and two charges of aggravated promotion of prostitution.
"One of the reasons people choose to live in League City is that our agency doesn’t overlook important issues," said Sgt. Stephen Antley, who leads the department’s Community Impact Unit. "The men and women of our department work every day on behalf of our citizens to keep our city a great place to live, work, and shop."

Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution:

- Jiao Wang (51 years old)
Prostituition:
- Suthida Butrnark (42 years old)
- Rutima Boransarn (43 years old)
- Aiming Ye (46 years old)
- Xueyan Ning (40 years old)
Occupation Code Violations:
- Umaporn Klimmeck (50 years old
- Arunee Inno (49 years old)
- Matthew Burns (32 years old)
- Pattraporn Kaewmongkol (59 years old)
- Kanjana Noomak (36 years old)
- Chantana Sittisaman (50 years old)
- Jiao Wang (51 years old)
