HOUSTON – Police are looking for the driver who hit a Houston Independent School District officer and took off.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. on Thursday in the parking lot of César E. Chavez High School in southeast Houston.

The driver is believed to be an 18-year-old black woman. She was in a white Toyota Camry with paper license plates.
The officer was taken to the hospital out of precaution but was released a little while later.
