FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – A bus belonging to the Fort Bend Independent School district was hit by a pellet from an Airsoft gun Friday, the school district said.
Authorities said no students were on the bus at the time and the bus driver was not hurt.

FBISD released a statement that read:
"Fort Bend ISD is cooperating fully with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office in their investigation of an incident that happened around 5 pm last night. A FBISD bus was hit by at least one pellet from an Airsoft gun, as the bus driver was returning to a District bus terminal. We are grateful there were no students on the bus, and that the bus driver was not injured by the pellets from the Airsoft gun. We are also grateful for the quick actions by the bus driver and the Sheriff's Office to locate those responsible for shooting at the bus."
