MIAMI – A new furry addition has people at the Miami Zoo excited.
A new 5-year-old koala was introduced to the public on Tuesday.

The koala exhibit had been empty since February 2015 when the zoo's 19-year-old koala died,
The new male koala, named Milo, arrived on May 3 from the San Diego Zoo.
Officials say in the future, Milo will be paired with a female koala as a part of a breeding program.
