A man was struck by a car and killed while crossing 610 South Loop Sunday night, according to Houston police.
The accident happened around 9:14 p.m. Sunday on 610 South Loop near Highway 288, near Almeda.
Houston police said the man walked across the eastbound lanes of 610 South Loop was hit and killed.
Several lanes in the area are blocked.
