HOUSTON – Authorities are asking for help locating a man who is wanted in connection with the sexual abuse of a child.
The abuse happened in August of 2019 in the 5700 block of Rampart Street, according to police. The victim reported the crime, and after further investigation, authorities identified Gerardo Hernandez Torres as the suspect.

Torres is accused of performing “indecent sexual acts with the child” and was subsequently charged with indecency with a child, police said.
The 46-year-old is described as Hispanic with brown eyes and black hair. He is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
