HOUSTON – Police said a man has died Thursday after he was found with stab wounds along the South Loop feeder road.
Investigators said that just before 2:30 a.m., a wrecker driver spotted the man stumbling in the road near 4500 S. Loop W. Service Road.

The wrecker driver said he went to notify police, who were working a scene nearby scene. By the time crews responded, police said the victim, in his 40s, was found dead face down in the road.
Police are working to find a motive for the stabbing.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
