Main lanes of US-59 SB at SH-288 back open after semi-truck flipped over

HOUSTON – The main lanes of US-59 southbound at SH-288 are back open Friday afternoon.

A semi-truck flipped over Friday morning, blocking the main lanes.

Authorities initially asked drivers to avoid the area, which was blocked for several hours.
