In a news release Wednesday, authorities said the housekeeper came into the room and found the victim lying on the floor and called 911 and then saw officers investigating an unrelated call at the same address and flagged the officers down.
The officers saw a bullet hole in the door and found the person dead on the floor.
Officials initially said the man was transported to the hospital, but updated that information to say he was actually found and was dead.
