Volunteer firefighters from the Mont Belvieu Fire Department are now hailed heroes after rescuing a puppy who was having a “ruff” day.
On Tuesday, firefighters were called to a local residence after a dog became entangled in a lift chair.

Images posted on the Mont Belvieu Fire Department Facebook page showed first responders working diligently to safely free the dog from underneath the gears of the chair.
According to the Mont Belvieu FD, the dog’s veterinarian said she will be okay after the incident.
“This lucky pup and her parents will have quite the ‘tail’ to tell,” the Facebook post read.
