There have been shocking allegations of fraud, intimidation and violence at a busy Houston car repair shop. A months-long KPRC 2 Investigation is looking into claims workers at the car shop were doing much more than just fixing cars.
We’re giving our KPRC 2 Insiders an exclusive preview of one of the elements in a report that Investigator Amy Davis is working on for Thursday night.
A KPRC 2 viewer, who did not want to be identified, contacted us after hearing about our investigation into Harris County Collision on Clay Road near Highway 6. He claims after paying for repairs, the car shop workers would not return his car unless he paid thousands more in charges. He called 911 from his locked car in the parking lot as auto shop workers surrounded the vehicle. About seven minutes in, the caller reports to the dispatcher that they’ve opened the vehicle’s door.
