HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after a homeowner possibly shot a burglary suspect to death in Houston’s East End.
Officers responded to reports of a home invasion in the 7400 block of Canal Street around 7:45 p.m.

According to officers, the homeowner’s wife said her husband found an intruder in their home.
When officers arrived, the suspect was found shot. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
