HOUSTON – The hunt is on for a man accused of fatally shooting the mother of his child during a heated argument in northwest Houston Monday night.
Macieo White, 21, is charged with murder in the death of 22-year-old Shiakar Brantley.

The shooting happened in the 7700 block of West Gulf Bank Road around 8 p.m.
According to Houston police, Brantley and White were arguing when White pulled out a gun and opened fire.
He then fled the scene in a vehicle, which was located later, but he was nowhere to be found.
Police arrived to find Brantley dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
After investigators gathered witness statements, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office moved forward with charges.
