BROOKSHIRE, Texas – An investigation is underway after one person was fatally shot and others were reportedly injured in Brookshire Wednesday, police said.
It happened in the 3700 block of 4th Street.
Officers said the victims were transported to the hospital via Life Flight and one is in critical condition. It is uncertain how many people were shot.

Police are searching for a gunman and are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
