HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division need the public’s help in identifying the suspect who shot and killed Kenneth Compton.
The shooting happened around 4:20 p.m. on April 11.

According to Houston police, Compton was in a parking lot in the 7500 block of the Eastex Freeway when a man wearing a black mask, black hoodie and dark gray pants approached and shot him multiple times.
The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction.
Compton was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, but died from his injuries.
His family is also asking for anyone with knowledge of this case to come forward.
