TSU announces partnership agreement with HCC to provide easy path for students to transfer

HOUSTON – Texas Southern University and Houston Community College announced their partnership agreement that will provide an easy transition for HCC students to transfer to TSU, according to a release.

The agreement will help graduates from HCC’s Drafting & Design Engineering Technology program to transfer into TSU’s College of Science, Engineering, and Technology to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology.

The agreement will also provide an uncomplicated path for graduates from HCC’s English program to transfer into TSU’s College of Liberal Arts and Behavioral Sciences, according to school leaders. As part of the new agreement, all credits earned by HCC graduates will automatically transfer to TSU.

More programs are expected to be added in the near future.
