HOUSTON – Officers with the Houston Police Department are investigating after they said a man was fatally shot during an altercation at a convenience store in northeast Houston Tuesday.
Northeast patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2500 block of Berry Road around 10 p.m.

Officers said when they arrived at the scene, they found a man dead from a gunshot wound.
According to HPD, the victim is believed to have gotten into an altercation with some other men.
Police said no suspect information is available at this time.
Officers are searching for surveillance footage and any witnesses to the shooting.
