HOUSTON – Many parents and guardians have often felt powerless when it comes to choosing the schools their children attend, as students are generally required to attend the schools where they are zoned. That is why the opportunity to apply for “school choice” programs is one of the most anticipated and competitive times of the year. During this time, parents and students can apply for transfers to schools outside of their current school zones.
