Suspect steals vehicle with children inside, leaves them on side of road in SW Houston: HPD

HOUSTON – A surveillance photo of a man who police say stole a vehicle while children were inside has been released to the public in hopes that someone will identify him, according to Houston Crime Stoppers.

The auto theft and aggravated kidnapping was reported on Jan. 30, at 3:05 p.m., in the 10400 block of South Post Oak Road.

Police said the suspect got into the victim’s vehicle and drove away with two children in the backseat. The suspect left the children on the side of the road several blocks away and then drove off.

Crime Stoppers is offering to pay up to $5,000 for information that will lead to an arrest.
