AMES. Texas – Authorities have released the identities of two victims killed in an accident involving a train in Liberty County Monday morning.
The women have been identified as Linda Warren Durio, 63, and Demetria Louise Semien, 48; both of Liberty, Texas.

The tragic crash happened on Farm-to-Market 160, just north of U.S. Highway 90.
The preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 10:27 a.m., the women were traveling north in a 2019 Toyota Rav 4 when the driver, Durio, disregarded the activated railroad crossing arms, officials said.
The Toyota was struck by a train traveling west, killing both women.
The train engineer and two passengers were not injured.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers was leading the investigation.
