HOUSTON – With the summer season underway, Discovery Green is launching a new series to help Houstonians beat the heat.
Every Thursday this July and August, you are invited to enjoy Park After Dark from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Discovery Green has just installed new lighting that’s perfect for the evening hours.
Visitors can enjoy the Gateway Fountains until 10:00 p.m., indulge in food trucks including Burger Joint and Pop Life Popcorn, and browse items from vendors like FurrEver Doggie and Charmify.
If you save your workouts for the evening hours, you can get some movement in by dancing! Learn to salsa, Bachata, merengue and more with Strictly Street Salsa dance classes.
Free gardening classes from La Lydia Garden Boutique will also be available for attendees from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Thursday in July. Classes will include Park & Home, Small Space Gardening, Plant Care 101, and Eco Gardening.
