Robbery suspects barricaded inside north Houston building; 2 victims grazed

HOUSTON – A SWAT situation has unfolded at a north Houston building where Houston police say at least one suspect has barricaded themselves inside.

Officers responded to reports of a robbery possibly involving copper in the 600 block of Crosstimbers Street.

At some point during the robbery, police said shots were fired and two people were grazed by bullets.

Later, the suspects took off and ended up at a building in the 4300 block of North Shepherd Drive. That was when SWAT was called to the scene after police said the suspects refuse to come out.

No additional injuries were reported.
