HOUSTON – A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged after documents say he beat his father to death with a glass bear mug Monday morning.
Todd Jordashe Jackson has since been charged with murder.

On Monday, Houston police responded to the deadly assault at an apartment complex located at 2010 North Main Street around 7 a.m.
According to HPD Sgt. John Stroble, Jackson and his father got into an argument inside the apartment, which led to the deadly assault.
Four family members were living in the apartment, including the father and son. They were all inside when the assault happened.
According to court documents, Jackson used a glass bear mug during the assault.
The father was transported to the hospital where he died due to blunt force trauma.
