HOUSTON – A child has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in southwest Houston Wednesday morning.
Houston police responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian crash in the 6099 block of Bissonnet Street at around 7:57 a.m.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
