A man was shot and killed before crashing into several vehicles at a red light near the Eastex Freeway Wednesday evening.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the crash happened in the 14200 block of Lee Road near Beltway 8.

Deputies with HCSO received reports of a multi-vehicle crash and one person, a man, was shot.

That man was rushed into an area hospital where he later died.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, according to Gonzalez.
Two women from two separate vehicles were also hurt but are expected to be OK.
Deputies are investigating what led to the man being shot.
