LEAGUE CITY, Texas – A 20-year-old woman died after being hit by a vehicle in League City Thursday, authorities said.
The League City Police Department said it happened in the 200 block of S. Egret Bay Blvd.

Around 7:46 p.m., officers received multiple calls of the woman being hit. They, along with League City Fire Department crews, arrived to find a woman on the east side of the roadway.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene and has been fully cooperative with officers.
