HOUSTON – A driver has been arrested after police said they were traveling the wrong way down the Katy Freeway early Friday morning.
According to officers, an SUV was caught on camera driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Eldridge in west Harris County around 2:30 a.m.

Harris County Precinct 5 Deputies tried to stop the driver and were able to forcefully slow the vehicle down using stop sticks, which are used to deflate tires.
The driver was arrested but police have not said whether alcohol played a role in the incident.
No injuries were reported on the roadway.
