Intruder held at gunpoint by homeowner until deputies arrived in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON – Looks like this home intruder chose the wrong house to break into on Thursday morning in northwest Harris County, according to deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputies responded to the home, located in the 11000 block of Hidden Bend Drive, after the caller stated that he had a male intruder held at gunpoint.

Investigators learned that the suspect broke in through the back door of the home and was met with a heavy metal firearm until deputies arrived at the location.

The intruder was taken into custody for criminal trespass.

The identity of the suspect was not immediately released.
