More than 6,000 Houston-area residents reported power outages during Monday’s storms

Reports of power outages continue after storms moved through the Houston area on Monday.

According to the CenterPoint Energy outage map, most of the outages were focused in the city of Houston.

A total of 6,208 customers were affected by the outages, according to the CenterPoint Energy outage map.

The chance of thunderstorms will last for the next few days.
