LIST: Some Houston-area school districts canceling all after-school activities due to severe weather

HOUSTON – Multiple school districts in the Houston area are canceling after-school activities as severe weather persists Monday.

Houston ISD

HISD is canceling all after-school activities today because of the weather.

Aldine ISD

Aldine ISD has canceled all after-school activities. The district will continue to monitor weather conditions for any possible impacts they may have on the community.

Cleveland ISD

Due to weather concerns, all after-school activities district-wide have been canceled for this evening.

La Porte ISD

Due to inclement weather, La Porte ISD is canceling all after-school extracurricular activities. If you have questions, you are urged to contact your child’s program sponsor.

Lamar CISD

All after-school events and activities have been canceled for Lamar CISD.

Sheldon ISD

Sheldon ISD is canceling all after-school activities today. If your child participates in the 21st Century After-School program, the district encourages you to pick them up as soon as possible after school. School dismissal times will not change.

Spring ISD

Spring ISD is canceling all after-school activities due to inclement weather. This includes all outdoor sports, practices and after-school programs.
