Stay warm: Houston-area warming centers open during this week’s hard freeze

HOUSTON – A hard freeze is coming to the Houston area next week and those who may not have shelter or a place to stay could be impacted.

Here is a list of warming centers for those looking to escape the cold.

Beginning Monday at 3 p.m., the City of Houston is opening the following warming centers:

Gallery Furniture

Mattress Mack is opening Gallery Furniture as an emergency warming center for those seeking warmth and safety. The store is located at 6006 North Freeway.
