HOUSTON – After what Texas Southern athletic director, Kevin Granger described as a “lengthy process,” the Tigers hired and introduced former Houston Oiler Cris Dishman as their new head football coach.
“This is more than a job, it’s a homecoming that happened by the grace of God,” Dishman said.
Dishman will take over as the 18th head coach in program history.
“Every round, every stage, Coach Dishman always rose to the top. He was always at the top of the list,” AD Granger told KPRC 2.
Following his introduction, Dishman will now turn his attention to finding the next group of TSU Tigers to add to his new football team.
