HUMBLE, Texas – An investigation is underway after a man was fatally struck by a train and thrown into a bayou Monday morning in Humble, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported at 11:06 a.m. in the 6400 block of Ackley Drive.

Deputies said the man was hit by the train and thrown into Greens Bayou. The initial impact happened near near Homestead and Hamill.
The crash caused the train to come to stop across Old Humble Road, near Smith Road. Drivers should expect road closure as the investigation continues throughout the day.
