HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was taken to the hospital after he was stabbed in north Harris County Tuesday.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the incident happened in the 3200 block of Bolton Gardens.

According to Gonzalez, a 18-year-old who was upset over the recent breakup with his girlfriend showed up at her family’s home. When he did, the girl’s brother intervened and asked him to leave.

A fight broke out between the two and the 18-year-old allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the other man.
The suspect fled on foot, but was later found and had a minor injury to his hand. He was taken to a hospital.
The man who was stabbed was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
