RICHMOND, Texas – A new CAVA restaurant is coming to Richmond on Feb. 16.
The restaurant chain announced they are planning a community day event to support Second Servings and New Hope Youth Center in efforts to fight hunger and reduce food waste.

The event will take place on Feb. 15 from 10:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at 19215 West Bellfort Blvd, Richmond, TX 77407 in Waterview Town Center. Guests will receive a free meal and donations made to Second Servings will be matched up to $1,000.

Second Servings is the only perishable food rescue organization in Houston.
Since 2019, CAVA’s Community Day program has donated nearly $500,000 to over 60 non-profit organizations. The company also launched a program in October 2023 to donate fresh, healthy, and delicious unused food from their kitchens to local community members.
