Gabriella was on vacation with her family and friends and was spotted getting inside of an unknown vehicle when she was reported missing.

Investigators have since shared that the unknown vehicle was actually a ride share, which took Caito to the Greyhound Bus Station in Houston.

Galveston PD said Caito met up with an 18-year-old woman at the station, and they both boarded a Greyhound Bus bound for Montana.

Galveston police were able to track down the location of the bus, and alerted the Sterling County Sheriff’s Office, more than 450 miles away from Galveston.

The bus was stopped by Sterling County Sheriff’s deputies on US-87 near Sterling City, and the teen was found safe on the bus.

Caito was later returned to her family.

At this time no charges have been filed, and the case is still ongoing.
