HOUSTON – A statewide AMBER Alert has been canceled for a 13-year-old who was reportedly abducted from the Houston area.
According to the alert, Cecilia Alvarado was last seen Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 10:30 p.m. in the 16000 block of Sunshine Street, Houston.

Law enforcement officials believed Cecilia was with an unknown man and was in danger.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez posted on X that Cecilia has been found safe.
Details surrounding the incident haven’t been released at this time.
